  • Always apply moisturizer immediately after a bath. After having a bath, using moisturizer all over your body can help lock in moisture and, as a result, reduce flaking. Before applying your moisturizer, be careful to pat, not rub, your skin dry.
  • Put on hypoallergenic cosmetics. It's crucial to use hypoallergenic makeup for women because some cosmetics can really be more harmful than beneficial. You should also be sure to give your skin a break from all the makeup occasionally.
